"Our culture must strengthen traditional marriage, promote abstinence before marriage, and reject any attempts to undermine the natural law by redefining marriage to include same-sex couples. The future of our civilization is at stake! This is a battle we cannot afford to lose."

We are losing and will continue to lose so long as judges rule our country.

Destruction of marriage, the genocide against the unborn, the perversion of our justice system, the embracing of sexual permissiveness and perversion...all of it leads to the same place.

As John Adams said, our true strength lies in our faith in God and His fundmamental moral principle.

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."- John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798

While we're at it, we can outlaw divorce and start prosecuting heterosexual adultery. Oh wait...that has no popular support.

"Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools" - Romans 1:2

This immediately came to mind. Depart from the word of God and this is what you get. Wake up America.

Yup, the more you read history, the more you see that this is true. Sadly, you also see that any effort to stop it is pretty futile - slowing down this trend is the best you can hope for...

Unwin stated it this way, "In human records there is no instance of a society retaining its energy after a complete new generation has inherited a tradition which does not insist on prenuptial and postnuptial continence."

Not surprising at all since marriage is ordained of God and involves His very image.

We pervert it at a terrible cost.

It's become acceptable for all kinds of people to live together in all kinds of combinations without any form of marriage.

It's become acceptable for all kinds of single people to adopt children.

It's become acceptable for single women to become pregnant and have babies.

It's become acceptable for even single gay women to have babies via artificial insemination.

Women no longer need to be protected because we are told they are equal and can fend for themselves--sometimes they even earn more than thair husbands.

So thanks to the above and more, getting rid of state sponsored marriage makes perfect sense.

Not that it is a good thing--but you've let them talk you out of all the reasons for legal marriage.

And now you have no argument except sentimentality.

You have let them create an artificial culture in which legal marriage has no logical place.

You've been bamboozled.

...once you shoot out the lights, can you shoot them back on again?"

On point, accurate.

Libs use social engineering all the time, so it has put a distaste in our mouths to even use the term. That's why only a few of us, for example Rush Limbaugh David Horowitz Dan Flynn, have excelled at it. This is all that leftist individuals and organizations do. The problem is that we just shake our heads, and pretty much take it for granted that they're gonna dismantle this nation. We'd prefer to improve ourselves, and help those near to us, that is how we keep busy.

Watch the documentary Brainwashing 101 which shows the way that the libs have used social engineering to lock out advances in political philosophy in academia, producing the education crisis that our country is in. You can Download it, but it on DVD, or watch it for free online via QuickTime, RealPlayer, or Windows Media by going to the link. Professor of Economics at Bucknell, Geoggrey Schneider, is on camera stating that "anything which is intimidating, which is going to poison the campus can't be allowed." He's a Marxist, so he's one example among many of the way that Universities are basically leftwing think tanks and political organizations. And the media plays dumb by "wondering" where the divide in this country comes from. The people that are in charge of America's most important institutions are the same ones that prolonged the life of the Soviet Union, who were mentored and educated by those that supported and designed the policies in support of Mao in the Chinese civil war against those who fled to Taiwan, forming the small outpost of freedom that is threatened today with invasion from the mainland. Ask yourselves, would conservatives call strikes on 400 colleges and universities around the nation when the U.S. military planned a major counterattack against its enemies? Would we burn books and take over clasrooms for "sit ins" and call for people to shoot their officers?

What distinguishes us from the libs is that we draw the line when it comes to government social engineering against its own citizens. As economics R.M. Hartwell has observed: "What schools and universities propagate in formal education, many other institutions reenforce." The perverse worldviews and prejudices of the left dominate academia and they filter down to the churches, the creative arts and the mass media.

I've posted this before. A story in Don Quixote (Chapter 51). Basically, there is a bridge at which anyone that wants to pass must make a statement of truth. If the statement is false, then by law the person must be executed by being hanged on the gallows that stands near the ludicrously governed bridge.

So one day, a clever itinerant decides to walk the long way, rather than take his usual route to the next town, in order to test the law, the order, getting to the bridge and declaring, "I will be executed on these gallows today, according to your law."

What could the rulers do in order to enforce the law? If they executed him, they would be executing a man who had told them the truth, and therefore violated their law which prohibited doing exactly such a thing. If they let him pass, he would have gotten away with a lie, and crossing the bridge getting away with it. The point is that the whole setup has to be done away with rather than carried on absurdom ad infinitum.

I believe that we must overthrow those that work to overthrow America and replace it in everything but in name (and eventually, even that, carrying their course consistently). I don't see that it is too much to demand the overthrow of the rule of the libs in America's educational institutions, from America's most important institutions, since they demand and work towards the overthrow of our nation.

Popular culture is one thing, but law is another. The re-definition of marriage by libs via government is another instance of their resort to SCIENTISM (the inappropriate application of the methods of natural science...) and therefore coercion, against society, while the Constitutional defense of marriage is society's rightful and obligatory measure in promoting beneficial social mores and standards.
