What's wrong with promoting abstinence-only? It's a great pre-emptive solution for those seeking to grow the spiritual fruit of self-control.

What's wrong with promoting abstinence-only?

1. It's totally unrealistic;

2. Its supporters KNOW that it is totally unrealistic, and resort to telling outrageous lies in order to convince people of the merits of their argument, as we see in the example of the speaker in this article.

Nothing, but when you resort to lies, half-truths and distortions to promote it, you've gone off the reservation. Cancer causing condems? C'mon, everyone with a shred of intellectual honesty is forced to admit that this was a cheap scare tactic on the part of the speaker.
