May 12, 2005, 6:42 PM

EL PASO, TX. - A man suspected of killing a young woman and kidnapping her 16-month-old son remains on the run. In an interview with ABC-7, Kristy Black's father, Ralph, made an emotional plea to get his grandson back home safely.

According to the FBI, Kristy's husband, and Justin's step-father, Ivan Villa kidnapped the baby shortly after Kristy's death on Sunday. Villa's car was found abandoned in Juarez on Monday, but there was no sign of Mr. Villa or Justin.

The FBI suspects Ivan Villa could be hiding out in Juarez (Mx) with little Justin. However, the baby's grandfather says Villa's probably already on Mexico's backroads headed to Houston.

Kristy's father tells ABC-7 that Ivan "has a strong family connection." Mr. Black goes on to say that Ivan was always determined to move back to Houston with his family and that they often argued about it.
