Hillary Clinton to Speak at Agnes Scott Commencement
PLEASE NOTE: A defined number of seats at Agnes Scott College’s 116th commencement require that attendance be limited only to members of the college community holding tickets.
ATLANTA (April 5, 2005) -- U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) will deliver keynote remarks at Agnes Scott College's 116th Commencement Saturday, May 14.
"Sen. Clinton's studies at Wellesley College in Massachusetts give her first-hand knowledge of the value of an education at a women’s college," said Mary Brown Bullock, president of Agnes Scott College. "We look forward to extending Agnes Scott's warmest welcome and to hearing her message during the commencement ceremony."
Born in Chicago, Clinton grew up in Park Ridge, Ill., the daughter of Dorothy Rodham and the late Hugh Rodham. After Wellesley, she earned her law degree at Yale University in 1973.

Clinton made history on Nov. 7, 2000 when she became the only first lady elected to the U.S. Senate. After the terrorist attacks on New York City in 2001, Clinton built a substantial record to demonstrate that national security is her first priority, but she also has worked to achieve bipartisanship to bring economic development to upstate New York.
The author of several best-selling books, Clinton also has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Married to former President William J. Clinton, they have a daughter, Chelsea.

While Hillary is in Georgia to give the commencement address at Agnes Scott College, which excludes men, I wonder if she'll drop by Augusta National Golf Club, which at least to date has excluded women? ;-)
Whoops, meant to say, I wonder if Hillary will drop by Augusta National to PROTEST it's all-male membership!
Why don't you ever hear of protests when she makes speeches?
