Timing and or printing schedule most likely. However Frist still has to decide upon when to bring the nomination to the floor. Who knows when that will be. His job is a lot like herding cats, imo.

Timing and or printing schedule most likely. [Reason for Bolton's name to not be on the Senate Executive Calendar for the 13th, the day after the committee vote.]

Bolton's name isn't on the calendar printed for May 16th either. I assume therefore that Boxer's hold has some effect.

Bolton's name isn't on the calendar printed for May 18th either. I'm not motivated to figure out exactly how "hold" is invoked, maintained and broken, but this nomination didn't move quick from committee to calendar.
