ON CAPITOL HILL Bolton Vote in Committee The Senate Foreign Relations Committee conducts a debate and vote on the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Chair Richard Lugar (R-IN) and Ranking Member Joseph Biden (D-DE) continue a review of the nominee, based on issues raised at the committee's April 19 business meeting. 10AM-3:30PM ET ON C-SPAN3
Back later. I have to get granddaughter some lunch.
He said something about the UN not being a place for tea parties. :-)
Now Dodd is claiming he would feel the same about Bolton if a Democrat was in the W.H. Anyone here believe that?
oh yeah , that is an EASY to read chart
The charts are back
I know what you are saying about the Pubbies backstabbing these days---
Yesterday on the senate floor, there were 2-3 senators critisizing each other about their bills and amendments--they were REpublicans calling each other names....I bet the dems were just sitting back and counting RINO votes against the nuclear option...
THE GOP wing of the senate is falling apart or being torn apart in a tug-o-war!
Some in California will be thrilled 250 miles....I've even heard of a few doing that in one day!
It is so fitting that the Dim Party is represented by the symbol of a jackass.
No .. because the Dems wouldn't put up anyone that would reform the UN
Is the mountain fiddler coming up after Dodd?
Wow, let's see now, I drive 10 miles to work and 10 miles home. But wait, I have to go to the grocery store, the family needs food, so that should count. My family likes "special food" so I have to go to a special store. 80 miles away. (am I getting to 250 miles yet?) Oh yeah, I have to go to this special store twice a week because my family is allergic to food that is not really, really fresh. /s
I have missed the charts before....but I can't read those.
He is promising more debate on the floor!!!!!!!!
Oh JOY!!!!!
George Voinovich asserted that Bolton would have been fired from his job if he had worked in the private sector. Thing is, Bolton did previously work in the private sector. It was when he was hired as a lawyer that the controversy surrounding Melody Townsel emerged.
But Voinovich says even though he missed the first two Bolton committee hearings hes read all the papers. So, surely he knows this. Right?

Setting up for a filibuster?
But But .. didn't Biden yell about not working for the President?
The phone number for dems is 555-562-5375 (I.M.A.JERK)
RINO ALERT!!
This whole display is disheartening and downright disgusting. Instead of 'giving up', we should use some kind of 'nuclear option' on these slimy politicians. Is there one, other than a revolution?
It's all so confusing, isn't it?
