I haven't trusted Powell for years, he's an internationalist.
I think it is better to stay away from Massachusetts altogether. How about Allen/Coleman? Two senators though... I hate to lose senate seats, and senators don't win, although Allen is in a position to buck that trend with the governorship in his back pocket.
We'll just have to see how it goes. I certainly don't see many strong names positioning themselves. Frisk is incredibly weak, and if he thinks he's going to get any traction well... well I doubt he gets past the fund raising stage. Unless he rams these judges through. If he doesn't, it's over for him, so I would think he'd be a little more enthusiastic about the battle.

We all disagree about lots of things. No big deal! That's what we do - as long as we do it in a civil manner! We can usually tell the trolls from the people who just have a different opinion. The trolls are usually insulting and will only post one nasty thing and suddenly disappear! You will do fine!
I am really torn here. Rush is preempted on the radio today for a St. Louis Cardinal baseball game. Normally, that would be a good thing because I LOVE the Cardinals, but my husband has absconded the TV to watch the game which leaves me with only FR to get Rush's take on this and also the testimony. So PLEASE keep it coming....

What I really don't get..the UN is gonna get creamed in the Congressinal hearing on the OFF and the other ascandals..Volker's cover-up is imploding..and the Dems are all going on the record as wanting to make nice to the UN and the collection of ass-wipes who work and play there? I think they have lost any perpsective..this is another Wellstone Memorial in the making..
Needless to say there will be times, on certain topics, when you absolutely cannot state anything remotely appearing to be anti, or pro, (which ever the case may be) be it facts, or opinions.
A thick skin and the knowledge that what you state, you believe to be the truth, will serve you well.

I don't think it is a much their desire "to make nice with the UN" and it is to block, delay, obstruct anything President Bush attempts to accomplish. Even the dems are smart enough to not by a ticket on the UN Titanic.
I didn't know much about Allen before these hearings. I am really liking what I'm hearing from him. Zimbabwe a part of the UN human rights comm. Things cannot go on this way at the UN!

Rush mentions how the RATS are loving Powell now. Rush caling him "God Powell".. But says the RATS never mention what Condi says about Bolton.
