Give credit for the Sonovich naming to gulfcoast6. I posted it up the thread, and somebody suggested an improvement...Sonovavich. LOL
To: Howlin
On CNN, Bill Schneider is saying that Sonovich's speech could be the beginning of the tide turning against Bolton! Sounds like a talking point memo
Also sounds like Sonovich may have had help writing his speech

Rush shredding the slanderer Voinovich.
Thank you Rush!! Rip them apart.

Is there a button I can push that gives the Cliff Note version of this thread? Senate committee is full of talk. No vote taken yet. Nobody knows for sure if Bolton will be voted out of committee. Voinovich badmouthed Bolton. Voinovich will vote yes anyway.
The thread had some trolls. The thread has the usual FR banter.

The only thing we are lacking is for the Code Pink/Medea Benjamin crowd to show up with shouted accusations from the Larry Flynt sewer. I will bet they show up before this is all over, so that those accusations can get on the TV shows without any senator dirtying his hands with them. I think you could very well be right, Miss Marple. I was wondering what sort of lowlife scum the Senators were going to get to throw that particular load of manure. Code Pink would be a good guess. And Medea and her filthy crew are hooked right up with Boxer, so she probably called in the troops to do her handiwork.

Notice how the Democrats keep saying we should give credence to the people who came forward to speak out about Bolton.
I don't suppose they think we should give the same credence to those who spoke in his favor, huh?

Wanted to toss out an idea..I have to leave bt 2:30,,but I think it would be really nice if, aftr the vote, someone..(you?.(g) ) maybe with a good graphics talent could start a thread..just inviting Freepers to post "thank yous" and words of encouragment to Bolton..I think a lot of folks in DC lurk on FR..and I expect the nominee will find out about it..andoh yeah..stick it in BREAKING NEWS..

>>And if I recall back in 2000 .. didn't the Dems give Powell a hard time in his confirmation hearing?<<
The way I remember it, Dems in general didn't object to Powell but Biden did, saying that he thought Powell was too isolationist... An almost funny objection in retrospect.

I'll never trust anything Colin Powell ever says again. He is a petty, back-stabbing, foggy-bottom loving RINO.

Voinovich trashes Bolten then praises him. "Why", Rush asks. For the attention.
