Byrd to Frist.......I am pained, pained at the partianship here. Never in my 47...53 years in this body.....blah, blah, blah.
To: TomGuy
Actually, Byrd says Reid spoke of a showdown.
Frist say, no, Reid did not say anything about a showdown.
That's funnier still.

Well, I confess I voted for Carter. What did I know? It was my first time voting.(I've never voted for another Dem since.)
I voted for carter too. You're a much faster learner then I. I voted gore in 2000. I'll never vote a dimocrap again. If I have no choice...I won't vote.

People, CBS did it again!!!!
Starr--did suggest conscience and prudence be exercised but made clear filibuster represents new use and misuse!!
To: mhking
Sen. Frist is now providing an education to ShakeySheets that 'advise and consent' means a VOTE.
There are only 7 or 9 times the Constitution specifies 2/3'rds vote....
Sheets back to shakin' and is now a Constitutional authority...
Simply disgusting behavior!!!
