Since 9/11, the comments from these supposedly two different camps as the author has pointed out, sound the same. Remove their names from the comments, and you are reading the same scripts as written by the rich enemies of America.
A while back, I had a half-joking, half-serious tagline that read, "How much are the Saudis paying Buchanan?" Your reasoning here has been visited before, and that shows something's beneath the surface.

If we ever find out these clowns were funded by the Islamofascists, they should be sent to Iraq and Iran after the regime change for trial for war crimes.

I don't know about that (as always I could be wrong). I think it's more a case of allies of convenience getting together. On the left it an almost visceral hatered of America, an America that rejects them and their "ideas".
On the right (Buchanan) it's similar in the America has rejected him and doesn't what to go back to 1934.

I used to feel the way you did until the 2000 election, and the attacks on GW from both quarters were often cloned attacks from the pseudo right and the vile left. After the election, both camps became more shrill and again sounded like clones.
Their responses right after 9/11 re the Islamofascists and the Jooooos again were too similiar not to be coordinated.

I wish all the pro-Buchanan supporters on the "Was World War II Worth It?" thread would read this. Maybe Free Republic just doesn't fit their ideology anymore; this article could give them some ideas of where to go.
