I was disturbed at a call that Laura Ingraham received from a lady that said she would vote for Hillary because Hillary is strong on borders. This is not the first time I heard people actually believing Hillary's line of bull. Scarry.
"If Tom Delay had benefited to the tune 800K and his campaign finance manger were going on trial for it, do you think the MSM would say that he had nothing to do with it?"
Sure NOT!
oops. . .make that a 'mouthful'. . .
The dims may put DeLay in the Whitehouse. As much as they hate him, and as much as the media has tried to skewer him over absolutely nothing, he has got to be someone we should look at for POTUS. He has the right stuff. Strong on every issue that conservatives care about. Abortion. 2nd Amendment. Judicial reform. Small government. Freedom.
The dims screamed about the House Ethics rules change, but the repubs have called their bluff, and they know they can't stand that kind of scrutiny. DeLay will survive it with ease, and you know what they say about the press. As long as they spell your name right. Now he's got recognition.
I might be way off, but, I think he could be a contender. I'd vote for him over Condi, Juliani, McCain, etc.
I just wonder if he'd be interested. That I don't know.
Isn't Hillary's Immigration rating in the Senate a D or D- ?
How is that strong oon borders? Just because the NYT wrote once that she said she didn't like illegal immigration? Did anyone actually HEAR her say that or where the Times reporters ordered to write an article?
I know I'm being cynical but her "moderation" on issues is overrated and is just lip service.
Insurance Company: You want life insurance. And your name? Rosen, well, after checking, we can offer that to you for $10,000,000 per month.
"I know I'm being cynical but her "moderation" on issues is overrated and is just lip service."
You know that, and I know that, but some strong anti-immigration people are buying the lie. Our job is to let people know about her "D" immigration record, by writing letters to editors, calling talk shows and posting on this board.
I would not even vot for McCain; would rather just 'sit it out' if he were in this race. I like Condi the best; but she still has 'three years' or at least a couple to demonstrate/prove her talents on world stage.
As for Delay; he got the 'right' in the 'right places'. . .but just see him as a risk as he is so closely identified with the 'hard core' right. . .not bad in itself. . .but maybe too narrow a 'row' that he hoe's. . .so to speak, for a contest for President.
Maybe VP? I don't know. Actually think we need him most; where he is ;^)
But you are right; if he did decide to run; he/we can thank the Demrats for putting him on the map. . early; for many out there; who otherwise; probably had no clue. . .
Bush is hard right according to the press. All that means is that he is acceptable to the base.
I see it as an asset, not a liability.
I heard today that the judge in this case, a Clinton appointee, viciously and inappropriately attacked the credibility of a witness before the jury.
I'm thinkin' Rosen has a deal. The judge has already declared that the *Beast is off limits. The fix maybe in...
Some victim. sarcasm.
Here's Hillary's immigration voting record:

I wonder if her score will go up before 2008?
