For astronomically minded Freepers, there has been a huge sunspot/solar storm detected late last night.
Possible auroras this evening.
It's kind of amusing that the weatherman predicted excellent aurora possibilities even several days after twilight at midnight had brightened enough to make auroras all but invisible a couple weeks ago.
