I was at GWB rally at local stadium and in the middle of his speech, we suddenly heard the unmistakable sound of afterburners. Small plane like a cessna was overhead and then made a turn toward the stadium with F-16 making huge turns around area. Just seemed like the wrong tool to use for the situation. Now a Warthog would truly have its way with a small plane.

There is absolutely no excuse for this and I for one resent the cost to taxpayers for his stupidity or planned test of our reactions.

Of course there's no excuse, and we all resent costs and scares... So ban human beings. Until we ban human beings from the planet there will continue to be human mistakes.

My wife's uncle is a pilot and was flying back to Louisiana from Mexico and got over into some restricted airspace. When the F-16's showed up verbally ripping him a new one, he told me that the utter fear was enough for him to obey every syllable of the orders he received from the fighters.

If someone actually had to be fired upon, that is amazing.
