Why did they have to put it on the end?!!!! That makes it even more stupid. If they absolutely HAD to rename it, then it should have been the Thurgood Marshall-Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

If they absolutely HAD to rename it, then it should have been the Thurgood Marshall-Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Because the front end is reserved for Robert C. Byrd -- eventually it will be "The Robert C. Byrd Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport"

Why did they have to put it on the end?They did so that the airlines baggage claim tickets won't have to be reprinted. They'll still read "BWI."
