THIS IS MY EMAIL TO THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF TAXES:
(The new spelling of the state name is approperate)
Dear Governor,
This concerns HB 3 the massive tax increase that is being rammed thru the legislature. I am SEVERELY disappointed at the republican in this state for even entertaining this abomination. I can not say strongly enough that I am opposed to any new taxes othe hard working people of Taxes (Note the new spelling ot out state name, it now fits.) We need tax relief and a property appraisal cap not a bunch of new taxes. I hope the Governor wil veto this and all other new taxes that hi this desk.
If not I will look forward to supporting his opposition.
Sincerely,
Scott Langseth
Thanks for the letter and comments here, ya'll.I'll use your letter, TXBSAFH, and plagarize it with a little modification and send to Governor Perry, too. (If ya don't mind me doin' that, that is.) :)
Not sure if I have his email addy or not. Can you give it to me in case I don't? Thanks.
I have voted for Perry every time he has run for statewide office since I have been voting straight ticket GOP for many years now, but it's time to let my voice be heard now and let him know that I CAN support any challengers in the Primary if he doesn't do the right thing here - AND/OR I can SKIP voting in the next Governor's race.
That said, I must say that I can't see supporting either Hutchison or that maverick beech Strayhorn (or whatever her name is this week). She is a real loser, imho, and I have blasted her when she has bad-mouth Perry in the past.
What the heck is wrong with our Taxes GOP? They pushed HARD to get redistricting done (as did we GOP voters and Freepers), and now they pull this BS?? Jeez!
