More than likely, but our "Republican" governor isn't any better when it comes to sympathy for illegals (and Tyson), and complete disdain for the will of the people.
Surprise, surprise. Election time is fast approaching, however, and Prop 200 is still law.
Now, if the AZGOP can just put up a halfway decent candidate, we might have a chance.
Someone explain to me how the good people of Arizona elected a worthless hag to statewide office.
In addition to McCain, how did they elect this woman governor?
We had a situation in Kansas where the dem gov vetoed concealed carry even though virtually all the calls to her office were asking her to please sign the bill. She ignored the will of the people. I have no doubt that the will of the Arizona voters will be treated with the same caliver attitude. Sigh..............
John McCain supports Napolitano and her pro-illegal immigration stances.
That man is a complete joke. Why do they keep electing him? I just don't understand supporting incompetence!
For some reason the American male seems to think that time spent in the military prepares one for Congress. Why that should be so is inexplicable because most people who have spent time in the service know that for every talented officer there are three idiots running the show. Thus, there is about as much reason to elect McCain to Congress as there is to elect, say, a Barney Frank.
Concise analysis. Ya done good.
A constitutional amendment to make English the official language in Arizona will likely be passed next November by the voters (if the black robed tyrants deign to allow it, that is). Prop 200 passed easily, so will this.
Our state GOP ran a guy that had just been busted out for a several hundred million dollar boondoogle when he was in the state senate (add Fife Symington having to resign as gov not long before for malfeasance...). Napolitano barely won even with that. J.D. Hayworth would wipe the floor with her, but he won't run for it right now. Randy Graf wants to take Kolbe's seat in the House, so he is out. We are going to have to find someone.
My wife works the check-in desk at the local hospital, and frequently has folks ask her if she speaks Spanish. When she says she doesn't, they tell her to get someone who does.
She gently reminds them that they're living in Arizona, not Mexico, and that if they know enough English to order her around, then they probably know enough English to communicate their needs to her. If they refuse, they don't get seen at the hospital, she tells them it's that simple.
Most of them relent and speak English, some bring along a family member to help translate, some just walk off. The people who really need help figure out a way to get it.
State elections are next year. I suspect that's why a recall effort hasn't been initiated...she only has another 18 months to try to ruin this state...
I was sent to Berlin, Germany by my employer on a field service job that was supposed to be only for 10 days and turned into 6 weeks. I didn't go around insisting that everyone speak English, I learned German, and in a hurry!.......
Good for your wife! What nerve, demanding she get someone to speak to them Spanish.
At the beginning of each workday, I find myself on the pot at the same time each morning. FOX News is on the TV, Neil Cavuto's program from the day before is being rebroadcast.
During the last commercial break there is almost always a very annoying ad that begins: "ONE MOMENT! Don't change the channel!" It's a Latino woman telling you watch this ad about learning Spanish, buying the CD set, etc.
The ad absolutely infuriates me, I close the door and run water until it's over.

1. Casino operating Indian tribes
2. RINO Women
3. Questionable voting in Pima County (Berkely w/cactus)
4. Third party clowndidate (Mahoney)
5. Lousy RINO predecessor governor ("Propane" Jane Hull)
The Independent candidate made a big thing about how Matt Salmon would not do anything about Colorado City just because he was LDS, so scared a lot of people with that. (Even though Colorado City has nothing to do with the LDS church) After all, we see how much the governess has done about it. It's been individuals that have made any differemce at all.
Well.....then, make it so!!
My next door neighbor speaks a type of Spanglish. He keeps practicing and his grandson speaks fluent Spanish. They make a point of saying how they like America better than Mexico.
There need to be *more* "attacks" on illegal immigration.
