I don't trust this "goodwill gesture" from Dingy Harry
As a "goodwill gesture, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has agreed to a floor vote on the nomination of Thomas Griffith.
Of the gesture, Reid said, Let's take a step away from the precipice. Let's try cooperation, rather than confrontation, which seems to be the hallmark of what we've been doing here lately.
He's like the kid who normally goes to bed at 10:00 and asks to stay up until midnight...upon failure he agrees that midnight is a little late and tries to mend fences by asking how 11:45 would work.
I think we should try stripping every privilege of office not granted by law from the minority and maintaining such until such time as they obey their oaths of office.
1..Create a crisis
2..Accuse the other side of creating the crisis
3..Offer up some bogus attempt to rectify the crisis
4..Accuse the other side of not accepting your offer to resolve the crisis that THEY created
Last Friday Hairy told a bunch of High-Schoolers here that Bush is a loser. When someone calls you a loser, do you compromise?
Actually, that appraoch needs to be done to the RINOs until they snap back into line.
Harry "The Turd" Reid is not compromising nor is he cooperating. So long as he and his dem scumbags are able to derail W's picks for the USSC, he has won! So long as Reid and the filthy crapweasels could stall Scalia's or Thomas's appointment as Chief Justice, Reid has won and America has lost!
It is amazing but the MSM will offer this as a fig leaf in the spirit of cooperation, rather than expose the REAL DIM AGENDA!!!
Whenever a leftist radical is ready to compromise, that just means your position is unbeatable.
Actually, I am using that approach by denying the RNC any more $$$ until I see action on judges and borders.
Or he knows somebody's got the goods on him for something.
Only if you ARE a loser.

Oh good. Reid admits the hallmark of the Dem platform is confrontation.
The hallmark I want to see define the Rep Platform in the Senate is Spine. beginning with Bolton. Followed with Justices.
How is the the proper conduct of the senate considered a "good will jesture?"
I dont think they have the votes to do what they want to do. If they ever put somthing in writing about the supremes, that would take a lot of wind out of the consitutional option movment.
They cannot afford that, though.
