Man Arrested For Stomping Geese To Death Says He Felt Threatened

ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- A man who allegedly stomped a Canada goose and its five goslings to death in Massachusetts this weekend is in court Monday on animal cruelty charges.
John Sanders says he's "heartbroken" over the incident. He tells The Boston Globe he felt threatened because the geese were acting aggressively and moving toward him, hissing and beating their wings.
Police say Sanders, an industrial engineer from Rhode Island, slipped and fell in mud after an adult goose hissed at him.
According to the police report, Sanders got up angry and went into a rampage, chasing and kicking the geese.
Dang those aggressive Canadians!!!
Oh yeah. Threatened by those baby geese.
This guy should hang.
The guy sounds like a pansy to me.
I can attest to their aggressiveness, but stomping them to death might be a bit over the edge..... Especially the little ones. The big ones will protect the little ones to the death I think.
This wouldn't have been so bad if he would have at least eaten the darn things.

No, he's heartbroken that he got caught and faces court imposed penalties.
I recall about 5 years ago a golfer took his 9 Iron to a goose on the fairway and ended up in it deep thanks to the local PETAphiles.
I chased some geese out of the yard first thing this morning. Normally I just let the dogs chase them off but the geese have slow moving babies right now.
On saturday I had a nuthatch zipping back and forth across the livingroom.
I must be an absolute animal but I don't really have that much of a problem with this. Yucky yes. But nuscince animals are terrible

I doubt anyone would have a problem with stomping an aggressive 'Possum. But he killed something "cute", and that's the worst kind of sin with the "animal lovers".
Geese hiss a lot louder than snakes. They sound like angry cats.
Geese don't bother me, but those killer Kamikazi NutHatches are another matter. I try to stomp on everyone of them I see.

I have popped my share of geese with a .22 or shotgun, but there is something wrong with a guy that stomps baby geese to death because he is scared of them.
