When Schumer first got up and said that Orrin Hatch (his good friend) only represents a couple of million people in his state, but HE, Schumer represents 19 million, I about choked...this argument has GOT to be shut downDoes Chuckie realize that the ONLY part of the Constitution that CANNOT be amended is the proviso that each State shall have equal suffrage in the Senate?
It was really a stupid thing for Chuckie to say. There are far more small states than large ones. Does Chuckie think that being from a large state makes him more of a Senator than Hatch? Would he like to try that argument on Byrd or Leahy or Searchlight?

I know what you mean, because I bet even if there was a set in stone rule requiring 60 votes, it could still be accomplished without his whoop-de-do state of New York, or that state of leftists, California...
IOW, Schumer, get over yourself!
