That may be its design, but I think people will see through it and realize it for the manipulation that it is.
Especially once they realize that every episode follows the same plot line;
Mrs. President has a wonderfully compassionate idea - She is oppossed by narrow-minded right-wing kooks who use dirty tricks and lies to thwart her - She triumphantly overcomes them while directing Jack Bauer on the proper way to finally catch Marwan.

Well, I always thought thet Geena Davis was a total babe, and have seen many of her movies...
Sorry hear that she is a "Democrat political activist".
Guess I won't be watching this program, nor watching any more of her film. But then, I don't think I've watched anything on ABC for 8 years or more anyway.
