They said the same thing about a nobody who never did anything good of any consequence, and then came within one state of defeating the incumbent president.

Well Kerry did do things of consequence, they just happened to be very bad things.

But those bad things, are just what the lunatic fringe wanted. Hilary doesn't even have that going for her. Her senate career is a joke. She can't even bring in the bacon (her nice fellow dems don't even seem to want to help her).

That said, Kerry, while not the great politican he was made out to be, is also battle tested, and far more experienced with a much better staff then Hillary. Hillary has never had a real tough election, running against the paperboy who came in late, ran a crap campaign, and she still struggled.

There's a big differance between Kerry and Hillary. I'm looking forward to seeing the 2 of them debate.

Breslin: "No, I think that the strength comes from a lot of people on television or in newspapers that just write drivel."

If Breslin said that (sober), I'm stunned.

He's further to the left then Castro.

Granted he may be right this time, but for him to take a shot at her, is kind of stunning.

Anna Quinlin and msnbc begin with the same tool. Repeat lies time after time after time and soon enough these lies will be believed. This is the tool which must must work for her to be elected. This puff piece should be dissected by Hannity, Rush, and all others who have an audience and folk should be made to see these lies.

Repeat lies time after time after time and soon enough these lies will be believed.

Thats one possibility.

The other is that people get sick and tired and begin to vomit.

Its like beating a dead horse, the MSM may adore and can't get enough of her, but if they keep hitting puff pieces, the voters are going to get sick and tired of hearing about her and anything that can get them to have to stop hearing all fluff about her will appeal (like voting against her).

I know democrats here in NYC who are sick and tired of hearing about her and dread the fact that they are going to have to see her and hear her and read about her for the next few years (which will only get worse in 2008).

The MSM is underestimating the voters, while everyone is overestimating her.

Repetition can help canidates, but it can, and often does, hurt them, if its overly done, and Hillary is beyond the overexposed phase now, she's become a nuisance even to some New Yorkers. Alot of them would prefer she shut up and be senator, and dump the presidential fixation, if they go bitter, watch out for the rest of the country.

Agree. And when did Hillary become the smartest woman in the world? She once tried a weekly newspaper column, and it appeared in page two of _The Washington Times_. Not the Post, but the Times, "that rightwing moonie rag" which I have read since 1982.

Her writing was vapid, shallow, obvious in its conclusions, and the product of a third-rate mentality, if I may say so. It disappeared from print; I think her handlers realized that the VRWC was deliberately letting her look like an idiot.

But Hillary's hate-driven ambition is purest cold-rolled steel. Just watch her eyes when those ice-blue pupils are totally surrounded by white.

Maybe the news media should report her presence at a MOVEON.ORG event in Washington last week in support of filibustering Bolton, Bush's judicial nominees, SS Reform, etc., etc., etc. along the usual idjits like Byrd, Pelosi, Shumer, Reid, Frank, Leahy and Teddy.

The 'New Hillary', indeed.

I can remember during the first Clinton Presidential campaign Breslin wrote an article stating that if Bill Clinton gets elected Clinton would bring down the democrat party..I was truly shocked. Wish I could find the article.

Her ambitions aren't going to get her to the white house.

Her handlers are horrible, why she hasn't fired them, and replaced them with more competant ones alone tells me she isn't anywhere near as smart as she is made out to be.

Her speeches don't do anything for the base, she is no more effective at getting votes then my left boot, but so many folks on the right act like she is some kind of supernatural being with magical powers of mind control.

She really is the most over-rated, over hyped politician in the last 30 years.

I'm amazed he got that right.

Maybe in between periods of drunkeness, and intoxication, he can get something right.

Then again, he may have been drunk when he wrote it.

I actually met him 2 times, besides being a short tempered leftwing drunk, he's also a paranoid conspiracy theorist.

Yeah, he had an anti-Clinton phase. It morphed into general dyspepsia.

Hillary's only strength is the Clinton News Network Do you remember Jim McDougal's claim, "The Clintons are like a tornado.... they come into your life, destroy everything, and then move on..." or something to that effect. Think about when the Clintons went to the White House: CNN was on top of the world. 8 years later (8 years of being the Clinton News Network), it was like a dead man walking and now it is just an old dried up husk, envying Roger Ailes and Fox News... Fair and Balanced and Number 1.

I hope that after writing this hagiographic piece, Ms. Quindlen was able to wipe that brownish-looking stuff off her nose and face before leaving the office.

I agree with you completely. Miss Hitlery seems not to be very intelligent. When she is speaking in public, she is stilted and screechy. Her statements are shallow. When asked direct questions, her answers are riddled with 'you know' - sounds like a child trying to lie her way out of something. Miss Hitlery is a fake flake.

I see they are starting. It looks like she is putting this out because of her finance difficulties.

Hear this Hiterly, you will be caught one of these days and have to pay the price that you and your creep husband did to America.

She is probably the most over rated, over hyped politician in the last 30 years.

Uh, most of them are. Unfortunately, the Dems know that a huge number of people simply vote for the person they are most familiar with, and the Hilldebeast will become ever increasingly 'familiar' by way of being on the cover of every woman's magazine on the face of the globe...

Speaking of overrated politicians, who would be on the historical list besides Hillary Rodham Clinton?

1. Adlai Stevenson

You forget that hillary has "star" status. That rates with everyone who is besotted with MSM stars and Hollywood. And also with people who are absorbed with reality shows and whoever is lately in the mass hysteria (the runaway bride this week).

She doesn't have to do anything, or stand for anything - she just has to be "hillary".

When I saw Dr. Rice tell off Barbara Boxer during Dr. Rice's confirmation hearings, I immediately thought "she's Presidential material". She certainly showed more backbone than Republican men I've been observing lately. She is also extraordinarily accomplished and gracious.

As for Hillary, what can I say? I can't think of a thing to recommend her. I'm in New York State and as my Senator, I can't think of a thing she's accomplished here of any benefit.

Dream on! A presidential "debate" is really just a joint press conference under a phoney name. A "presidential debate" always consists of two or more people taking the liberal position and one person - the Republican candidate - taking the conservative position.

A real debate would be moderated only by a chess time to assure that both candidates had equal time. And a real debate would last for three hours, and be repeated five or more times. A real debate over issues would be on the radio and not be televised, because compared to the quality of a candidate's ideas and temperment, whether a candidate is bald or not should be of no consequence whatsoever.
