HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, remembering Mom...

Could it have really been 25 years since I kissed my Mom good night? How could that be, it seems like only yesterday? Her memory is still fresh, her wonderful smile is vivid in my mind. I can still feel the tenderness of her kiss on my cheek, and I can recall everything she whispered to me as I held her close... Could it have been so long ago...

I still remember you Mom... each and every time I say good night to the kids on a holiday... I kiss them once more just for you...

I still remember you Mom... every time I see my sons and daughters and hold and kiss my grandchildren... I still think of you holding me...

I still remember you Mom...in oh so many ways...  more than ever, tonight...... tears

.. Your Mama raised a fine son..

She would be proud to see her grandchildren so beautiful and happy, and her only son still holding the family close.. I believe she would have been burst-in her buttons indeed.. thanks.. :)

I got 50 push-ups, and KP the next 3 days, he got an "AS YOU WERE AIRMAN, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK".. sheeesh

ROTFLOL. But on Judgement Day, our Maker will know who was honest and who was pretending to be praying, I'm sure. :) Great story, and I'm sure your unit benefitted by you on KP! Thank you for your service, Corporal.

Carlo, you are so wonderful! I hope that you are having a wonderful and blessed life. You've made my tears flow as well. Although my mother will be 80 this year, I live too far away from her, and see her so infrequently, and dread the day she will no longer be here.

Thanks for the lovely sentiments and poetry. God bless you.
