'Shortly before Tony’s sixth birthday, his dad, Rodney and two of his uncles, Jason “Jay” Washington and Donald “Donny” Lewis, the father of Aldeaz Lewis, became involved in what federal prosecutors would later describe as a “conspiracy” and a “continuing criminal enterprise” to distribute large quantities of cocaine and crack cocaine in and around Niagara Falls and elsewhere in New York state."

I can't even read this, ohmigosh, I'm so sure they were not involved in a "conspiracy" or "continuing crimal enterprise". Heavens no! I'm sure they were providing a loving home for "Tony", too bad Tony died like a dog.
I'm sure it's Bush's fault.

I'm also 100% sure that if I said what words are in my mind that I'd be banned for life.

Quite sure.

Quite sure.

"...was linked to the Eastsiders street gang and at least one shoot-out between gang members and members of the Westsiders street gang."

What is this, a cartoon show?

At least that much. The pizza guy also lost money for not delivering at least that night. He might be fired for carrying a weapon. (Some pizza places get cold and soggy about that) And what about emotional distress from having to kill some freelance socialist who was willing to kill him for $20.00. It sounds like a righteous shoot to me, but killing someone is no small thing.

Thanks.
All my sorrow is reserved for the pizza driver. That might be because I drove pizzas at one time. The perp made a decision to rob the driver, the driver defended himself. Suicide by pizza driver.

while I don't blame the delivery guy for shooting Tony, I do have some sympathy for the deceased. The real blame must be directed at Tony's family. they are the ones responsible for his death.

The deceased was 16, certainly old enough to realize that when you threaten someone with deadly force, they might well kill you. His family is to blame for not teaching him that bad actions have bad consequences, but the deceased held up a citizen and died. His actions alone led to his death.

If he is old enough to stomp a grown man and put a plate in his jaw he is old enough to die. The pizza guy may lose his job but he is walking around whole.

“He beat him (the victim) up, because he stole money from Tony,” his godmother Chanikka Davis said. “And he (the victim) was a grown man.”

As for the pizza delivery incident, some in the family suggest that Tony’s cousin, Aldeaz, who allegedly committed that robbery and another armed robbery with Tony, gave a statement to police that backs up the account of the pizza deliveryman only to get a deal from the DA.

Yup.
Wrong place at the wrong time. Yup

he got friggin' caught!

AGREE...The family (and the Perp.) should've though of that before entering a life in crime...its a good thing, the driver than "the means" to defend himself.
