I knew Mario wanted to ban em all.
an attempt to make the Bronx a high-tech center (laugh all you want, I still do).
LOL. All I can think of is "Detroit's Renaissance" during the Coleman Young years.

The Republicans are going to bear the blame and they will lose control of the house and the senate. They might as well, they're worthless. The Republican's have moved left and they are like the RATS
used to be. The RATS have moved left so far they are now Socialists, and the Socialists have moved left and are now Commies!
America is DOOMED! Short of a revolution, there's no way to save it.

I am terribly sorry if my comment offended; I didn't mean to say anything rude about Xena. I've read a lot of her posts and think she's hilarious ala Ann Coulter. She once made a mention that she corrected typos in books, a habit I used to have. I should have posted a comment to her, thereby introducing myself, but didn't.
I don't post too often actually, but when I do I often seem to put my big old size nines in my mouth. I'm a newbie and that's no excuse; I still understand I broke etiquette. My apologies to Xena.

Hey buddy, you got it right. The wealthy scum of wastechester are so insulated in their gated estates and mercedes, they could care less. A guy like me trying to make his way in the world without the benefit of inheritance or wealthy parents really has to hustle.

Thank you for the warm greeting.
And you are welcome to correct me anytime. I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities, given the way my paws recklessly pound away at the keyboard, LOL.

wait a minute. is it really the federal government's fault that they can't handle the influx of new citizens into their town?
while this plays nicely into the "screw the immigrants" mentality that appears a little further out into right field, it sounds like your basic good old fashioned buearocratic blame-shifting squeaky-wheel strategy.

I just got back from visiting a friend in Columbus Ohio. He bought a house for 300K that would be probably 900k here with 12-15 k in taxes. His taxes are 2k.

Republicans will lose both houses and the Presidency if Democrats promise to deal with the illegal immigration problem. That is a given.
Of course when in office they won't do one real thing to fix the problem, but voters have always fallen for being lied to. The Republicans have not shown any reason for voting for them other than they are not officially called democrats.
