If I bet, I would not pick a favorite, no payoff. It will be hard to beat Bellamy Road's 120 Beyer speed rating, but I do give BANDINI my confidence. He will win or place, and he's at 6-1 now. His sire is the great "stud muffin" Fusaichi Pegasus and he's been improving each time out. Solid trainer, respectable jock.

My "going out on the limb" longshots are High Fly, Greeley's Galaxy, Noble Causeway and Wilco. Wilco's only chance is his jock, Corey Nakatani, who knows how to bring a longshot in, I've seen it a hundred times. Remember last year that "Birdstone," a big longshot, spoiled Smarty Jones' triple crown bid. So don't count Wilco out.
High Fly is underrated, but has Zito as trainer and the great Jerry Bailey as his jock. Can't count out Noble Causeway. Last race he was 2nd by only a length and a half. And he's trained by Nick Zito, and has one of the best jocks in the world on his back, Gary Stevens.
Greeley's Galaxy (at 15-1) we know little about because he didn't race as a 2 yo, but he won the Illinois Derby by a stunning 9 1/2 lengths and he has a 106 beyer.

If you have to pin me down, here are my bets:

WPS on Bandini and Greeley's Galaxy

Trifecta Box: Bandini, Afleet Alex and Bellamy Road
Exacta: Bandini, High Fly

Place and show on both High Fly and Noble Causeway
