SHARON - The Scouts were engrossed in a game of foosball, but it was time for a more serious type of practice. Troop leader Nabeel Khudairi goaded them from the game table and led the boys of Cub Scout Pack 111 upstairs to the prayer room of a mosque in Sharon.
The boys, ages 7 to 11, are part of the only all-Muslim Cub Scout pack on the South Shore.

Nationally, chartered groups are backed by an increasing number of religious faiths, which sponsor 65 percent of all troops, Shields said.
He said the growing diversity of Scout troops reflects the nation's influx of different cultures, not necessarily a change in the Scouting philosophy.
The Boy Scouts of America has long felt strongly about a Scout doing his duty to God,'' Shields said. But God can be defined differently, whether it's Allah or Christ.''
Only one faith group, Jehovah's Witnesses, has been blocked from joining. They refuse to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, a Scouting requirement, Shields said.
Overall, this is an excellent thing!! Glad that the boy scouts are holding strong on excluding practicing athiests, homosexuals and anti-Americans (Jehovah's Witnesses).
Go Scouts!!
The Buddhists are interesting though ... that isn't really a 'religion' per say, rather its a philosophy, isn't it?
Don't forget the badge for honor killing.
You mean Cub Scout Pack 9/11?
There are a lot of Boy Scout troops that are of only one denomination. Lots of all Catholic troops and lots of all Mormon troops. There are even all Buddhist troops.
Next week we'll talk to your parents about going on a field trip, where you'll really learn how to kill.
Here's a picture of last years trip."
Notice he says "major prophets" I'd bet money he's talking about Christ. Muslims believe that Jesus Christ was just a prophet. Ask any muslim this "Jesus Christ is the son of _____?" The Qur'an calls Christ "the son of Mary", not "the son of God."
Does anyone know what the Christians call God?''
Allah is not just a Muslim word'' [Oh, really? I must've missed that part of the Bible.]
This guy is such a snake.
He's trying to get these kids to believe that the Christian God and Allah are the same. Complete and utter LIE.
I'll defer to Craig Winn, and his research, on this one....
There is another reason Muslim clerics and kings dont want the Quran translated. By so doing, their biggest deception dissolves. Muslims protest that Allah is simply the Arabic word for God and that we all worship the same spirit. But thats simply not true. The Quran says that Ilah is the Arabic word for God and that Allah is his name. Quran 3:62 This is the true explanation: There is no Ilah (God) except Allah. Quran 52:43 Have they an ilah (god) other than Allah? Quran 5:4 Pronounce the Name of Allah, and fear Allah. Quran 21:107 Say: It is revealed to me that your Ilah (God) is only one Ilah (God). Quran 20:8 Allah! There is no Ilah (God) save Him. Quran 20:14 Verily, I am Allah. No Ilah (God) may be worshiped but I. Quran 20:97 Your Ilah (God) is Allah: there is no Ilah (God) but He. Quran 59:22 Allah is He, no other Ilah (God) may be worshiped; He is Allah, Whom there is no other Ilah (God).
Oh boy..........
From thier site
I was a Boy Scout and my little brother made it all the way up to the Venturers. There were a lot of Muslim boys in the Scouts when we there.
This is a joke. Right?
Thanks for the ping
Foosball?...
Quick, somebody call the 'water boy'... ;p
Actually, I think that's a good thing. It'd be their acknowledgement they know that Islam isn't the faith our founding documents were talking about. They would take the same position on Hinduism, Buddahism, Chinese traditional religion, African Traditional & Diasporic, Sikhism, Juche, Baha'i, Jainism, Shinto. . .anything but, ahem, Christianity.
There seems to be a renewed emphasis on Scouts obtaining religious awards too.
