Security Moms are stepping up to the plate and offering a poll to visitors to their site about our borders and immigration.

This group feels their mission is to help Americans fulfill the words of President Eisenhower, "Politics should be the part-time profession of every American." We think he was right. Without political sophistication, it is an under-appreciated fact that the average citizen ignores his or her solemn responsibility of citizenship in a free society; our political representatives work for us and should be taking directions from us, not the other way around. Family Security Matters aims to correct this and serve the national interest by creating a community of informed and politically engaged citizens – arguably the best chance we have to keep our nation safe and secure.

Security Moms were a major force and voice during the 2004 election. Security Moms (and dads) need to continue to be a voice to be reckoned with and speak out about our borders and how this relates to the war on terror and the potential for terrorists entering our country, our towns and our neighborhoods!

At this point I'd vote for whatever party that would step up to the plate and put an end to the illegals entering thru our open borders and throw back the ones that are already here.

I'm going to be a one issue voter next election and vote for whoever will stop this tsunami of illegals.
