Best of all, they get to keep their AK-47, something else that's illegal but, hell, who's counting.

Are they kidding?!!???

Okay, enough is enough.  Why pretend any more?  Let's face it ... America has pretty much giftwrapped California and given it to the illegal immigrants.  Just hand them the keys already & get it over with.

How can people who were not born here and entered this countey illegally be given far more rights than I will ever have??????

Man, if our forefathers could see us now.  They'd either laugh in our faces or slap us silly.

Perhaps rather than impounding illegal aliens' cars, which would make it unfairly difficult for them to retrieve them after they're deported to Mexico, perhaps they could be air-dropped to Mexico by helicopter, preferably from a height of 100 feet or so.

The alien should get to escape the impoundment -- if he consents for himself and his family to be towed in said car by border patrol to Mexico.

Has anybody else noticed a subtle change in how the MSM is beginning to use the word Politically Incorrect word "Illegal"?

Before the Minutemen Project brought attention to this issue, the MSM used the term "Immigrant" as a synonym for "Illegal Alien".

Today, while channel surfing, I saw the screen banner "Illegal Alien Crisis" on CNN of all places.

I would have expected to see one of these first on CNN:

Cedillo's bill would exempt those who don't have a license simply because they are not legal U.S. residents.

UH?!?!

We are living in the Twilight Zone. A Nation where jobs are being stolen, Crime is running rampant, Taxes are being wasted and no government official cares. You are entering the Twilight Zone.

To carry that reasoning to its logical conclusion, why
not exempt them for murder, rape, and other felonious
charges since they are illegal and not subject to our
laws? Every time we see or listen to the daily news we
hear about insolvent hospitals, bankrupt school districts,
higher taxes for prisoner incarceration and social services
and welfare. Lou Dobbs recently said that 20% of all
prisoners are illegals! California alone (a bankrupt
state!!) spends $450 million per year incarcerating illegals. It has been proven beyond all serious doubt
that this foreign invasion is costing Americans billions
of dollars above and beyond what they contribute. Both
political parties are out of touch with the people ---
the vast majority of whom (by every poll) are OPPOSED
to the illegal sunami. Sadly, we conservatives must admit
that George Bush is part of the problem - not the
solution.

The culpability for all this nonesense lies in Washington.

The Federal Government is all too eager to attach strings to federal dollars for local aid on every conceivable issue.

It should hold bakc any Federal funding to any local jurisdiction which directly or indirectly refuses to cooperate in enforcing immigration laws.

Here we go again.

Any question why they call him 'one bill Gil'?

The funny thing is, the person responsible for the continuation of the impounds is... Gil Cedillo. He was offered the chance to have a bill providing drivers licenses for illegals IF those licenses were marked to indicate they were for driving only, and he turned it down. And this is just B.S., anyway. This isn't about driving, it's about having defacto citizenship papers, and his action last proves that.

I tell you, if this keeps up, I am going to renounce my citizenship, move to Mexico, become a citizen, and sneak over the border just to have the benefits!

(kidding, of course)
