He also said that he'd organize a mult-state conference involving border-state governors to address the illegal immigration issue. Whatever happened to that?

It's always been hard to secure the borders. Just ask us indians. We have been trying since 1492. Not enough manpower and really low tech.

CALIFORNIA GROUP
TO PATROL BORDER
NEAR SAN DIEGO
Anna Gorman
Los Angeles Times
May. 4, 2005 07:28 PM
Invigorated by California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's praise for Minuteman Project in Arizona, a Chino, Calif., group says that it has enlisted hundreds of volunteers to patrol the Mexican border near San Diego this summer.
Organizers are hoping "Border Watch" will keep the national spotlight on what they see as a failure of the Bush administration to secure the country's borders from
illegal immigrants and terrorists.
"This is not about race," said Andy Ramirez, 37,
chairman of Friends of the Border Patrol.
"It's about protecting America's borders."
Ramirez, whose grandfather was a Mexican immigrant, said he had collected more than 300 applications from former military personnel, police officers, customs agents and others. Volunteers will not confront illegal immigrants, he said, but will report their location to the Border Patrol.
Opponents, including the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, worry about the potential for violence and escalating racial tensions. They denounced the citizen brigades as vigilantes and questioned the campaign's motives.

Just for making statements about securing the border and praising the Minutemen -- without mentioning anyone's race -- Governor Schwarzenegger is now hated by California Latinos and their "leaders." So, he must be doing something right and I for one hope he keeps on this path.
He seems determined to save the economy of this state and is ticking off a lot of people who have been enjoying a ride on the gravy train.

A lying California politician alert should be accompanied by a picture of that statue in Los Angelos of some Mexican hero inscribed with these words "always Mexican land."

Californians were starstruck by a RINO, a fact that they're finally figuring out. Arnold either needs to become a DemonRat, or go back to making Hollywood garbage.
I'm praying that Tom McClintock will run again. I worked on his campaign during the Recall. He's the Real Deal ... pro-Christian, pro-English-only, anti-abortion, anti-tax and anti-queer. He'll shut down the welfare scams and use the California Guard to round up illegals and boot them back to Meh-hee-koe. He's the one California Republican who can energize the conservative base in an off-year election. Mcclintock has the vision and the political acument to make California a great state again.
