I'm a-walkin' in the rain, Tears are fallin' and I feel the pain, Wishin' you were here by me, To end this misery And I wonder-- I wah-wah-wah-wah-wonder, Why, Why, why, why, why, why she ran away, Yes, and I wonder, A-where she will stay-ay, My little runaway, Run, run, run, run, runaway.
so who was it that ran away with her to vegas? I don't beleive for a minute that she did all this alone.
Does F.R. really need celebrity news? Is this going to help restore the Republic somehow? I guess there is a celebacy angle but still. I hate celebrity, hollywood, etc. I'm just being grouchy I guess.
Mark my words . . . the rape story and subsequent exam, on which she insisted even though LEO said it wasn't necessary, is meant to cover for the fact that she's not a virgin.
And another "religion" controls somebodys mind...
There you go. Anti-religion spin coming from media (duck!)
Oh, lordy...I saw the preacher read the prepared statement yesterday. She didn't get cold feet...but offered no real explanation for her actions. The statement said the magic words, "I'm sorry," but somehow without her actually coming forward personally to say so, the words sounded hollow. The whole statement sounded so lawyerly, it was almost laughable. Whoever is advising this woman is giving her some really bad advice.
And it also was revealed that she told authorities initially that she had been raped by her abductors, but then recanted that one too. Let's see, her abduction, her rape, her allegations that it wasn't preplanned -- at least three or four lies this woman told.
If her fiance was not in on this stunt, I would recommend he get himself a private investigator or do some serious digging into this woman's background. I wonder what other skeletons are lurking in her closet.
This is crap. If she was so sex-starved, she would have dumped him ages ago. Instead, she waits until just before they would have been married to bolt.
I think her fiance should keep waiting for the right woman, and I think she is not it.

Let's see, false accusations of kidnapping and rape (CRIME), abstinence before marriage by a Baptist (RELIGION), constant coverage on Tragedy TV (MEDIA),
lying (BILL CLINTON)...
Only in the last 50 years in the West has the notion of premarital sex lost its status as a taboo.
There are excellent sociological reasons for such a taboo as well.
Supposedly she spent most of her time in Vegas at the bus station.
However, given all the lies permeating this whole mess, I don't know if I believe that one either.
Agree. The sex was apparently about to start after their wedding.... and now this sex-starved woman has to wait longer.
it's entirely possible that Oprahesque friends of hers convinced her that she shouldn't marry a man she hasn't had sex with - "how do you know the sex is good if you haven't done it?" Etc., etc.
I thought you said "I hate celebacy" and couldn't figure out why you'd state something so obvious.

You're probably right. This is no doubt getting more attention than it deserves. Still, I find myself wanting to know what other lie will be exposed. Guess it's like a traffic accident...we want to move along and the images are disgusting, but still, we keep wanting to look.
Right or wrong, I would not buy a car without a test drive. I would not get married without one either, so to speak. Sexual compatibility is not everything in marriage, but it plays a big role. If you are not satisfied by your partner you will stray.
Opps, me bad, I clicked here thinking it was an obituary for Senator Byrd!
