Early warning shots-- the War against Religion...

The Left's 'Dominionist' Demons -- As near as I can tell, "Dominionism" is the Left's version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. A big lie used to justify bigotry and irrational hatred.

Tug of war over sex education in schools - On its Web log on April 6, teachthefacts.org posted an entry titled, "Theocrats making their move in our country." It showed a picture of two women covered head-to-toe in Muslim burkas. "So here's the plan. Conservative Christians are going to 'take back' America. They will eradicate evil and make sure that all Americans live according to the Gospel," wrote Jim Kennedy, a federal worker with two children in high school. "You will dress modestly, abstain from liquor, cigarettes, dancing. Your daughters will learn about sex from their husbands when they marry ... You will obey the scriptural laws of the country and will attend services, of course," he wrote.

I appreciate that link.
It just shows how wrong-headed, and fanatical, some of these characters are.
Personally, I don't give a rip if a person is religious or not, so long as he's law-abiding and decent toward others. I'm not interested in forcing anyone to believe in anything- but I don't like the hostility manifesting itself to any kind of faith, and I do believe the goal is to silence "anyone who would dare tell me what I am doing is wrong."

Groups Say University Stadium Not Suitable for Promise Keepers - According to Dick Bennett, retired professor of English and president of the OMNI center, that very mission speaks to the groups intolerance of others. "They are extremely exclusive in favor of Christianity to the exclusion of all the other religions," Bennett said. "This is a very fundamentalist, intolerant religious organization. Even though they say they are open to all denominations, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, they really mean if those different peoples will convert to Christian," he said.
For NOW President Melanie Dietzel, the issue is the inappropriateness of a non-diverse group using the facilities of a diverse campus. "Youre inviting parents to bring their kids and you have this going on, on campus. What kind of message is that sending about their true dedication to diversity?" she asked. "My point is, our university is saying we have this diversity plan in place that we want to protect, encourage, support, be tolerant of all of this diversity. And yet, in our Razorback Stadium, were going to have speakers who have made these broad statements openly defying the philosophy of the university. I just think this flies in the face of what theyre promoting as the universitys real efforts at diversity."
In other words, "diversity" means NO CHRISTIANS ALLOWED.

Our religion doesn't measure up to their standards of "tolerance" and "diversity," so they are not obligated to "tolerate" us.
If they love "tolerance" so much, maybe they should start practicing it.

Why are your federal tax dollars being used to pay the ACLU to bring frivolous lawsuits against you.</p>
Your tax dollars pay their attorney fees.
It's time to repeal the law.
Check it out.

President Bush Called "Evil," Evangelicals Equated With Nazis at NCC-Sponsored Conference -- "these are the darkest times in our history"
Hmmm, darker than when slavery was legal? Darker than the days of Jim Crow? Darker than the Civil War and its 600,000 dead? Darker than WWII? Darker than the Great Depression? Darker than when tens of thousands of Japanese-Americans were interred in relocation camps? Darker than when women didn't have the right to vote? Darker than when atomic bombs were dropped on Japanese cities? Darker tha the Vietnam War with its 50,000 dead? As another poster said, these people are NUTS.
