Sorry, that world no longer exists. We all now lock everything, install alarm systems, and call the police if a child is missing for more than an hour. We have learned the hard way that our society has deteriorated.

With the help of the commie ACLU that get criminals free.

The terrorist filth have defined the playing field and the rules of the game. We act civilized to civilized people, we kick trash out of helicopters to get other trash to talk. Its us or them.

I'm very weary of all the peace and freedom loving muslims living in our country who aren't availing themselves to the US either in a military capacity or in counter intelligence. Its time for a close look at every one of them too.

"....Free Tibet" and "No Iraq War" bumper stickers. Free Tibet, but not Iraq. The hypocrisy is maddening."

I bet you dollars to donuts that if someone should take them seriously and free Tibet, the little leftist twits would be protesting that too.

I've been saying this for a long time. I'm sorry if it's utterly politically incorrect of me, but I can't trust any "American" Muslims, when I hear one of their top "imams" declaring that they are not here in America to "assimilate, but to create the Islamic States of America!" These people don't belong here. We are fools to continue to tolerate them and their separatism.

What is it going to take?

This brings up some questions and comments.

Comments: Indeed terrorists absolve themselves of the right of POWs. They hide themselves in the guise of civilians and then attack and kill as soldiers. Their own deception has absolved them of the right of the POW.

Geneva convention rules are nice but impractical. Most of our would be enemies would never follow them. Did Japan even follow them? The Nazis certainly did not. For example, if I were a small nation about to be invaded by overwhelming forces intent on my genocidal destruction, I would dust off those chemical weapons and use them - damn Geneva.

Questions:

1) Do these detainees deserve due process? Is due process only reserved for American citizens?

2) Are these terrorists we picked up in Afghanistan in fact foreigners themselves? Mostly Syrians and Saudi mercenaries that had no business in Afghanistan?

3) What is the international standard of treatment for POWs? Are we given the right to question them?

Thanks.

That's interesting and a powerful argument. No protections for terrorists.

I saw that movie. That scene was creepy. I could hardly watch.

I will copy and paste your questions to my friend, Lee Ellis, who wrote this strong article. I'll let you know what his answers are. I prefer to send questions to the author of any piece which I post, because I'm "just the messenger." I didn't compose the message!

Thanks so much for your comments/questions!
