Been awhile since she's been in the public eye, but I recall she was a pretty bright lady. Wasn't she an attorney herself?

We have better candidates than her. The reason the Republican lost was that he was Mormon and there is some negativity to them in AZ. However, we are a Republican state.

I don't know much about her politics, but this sounds promising...

Marilyn Tucker Quayle brings a unique perspective to the issues facing the American people. She is the closest advisor of her husband, Dan Quayle, who served as Vice President under President George Bush. She has an insider’s knowledge on the workings of Washington and respects and understands both the power of the free enterprise system and the limits of government’s effectiveness.

Active in a number of charitable causes, she has placed a special emphasis on disaster preparedness and breast cancer research. Her efforts have resulted in numerous national and international awards and recognition. A woman of strong beliefs, she speaks passionately about faith, families and the future of America and the world. Her forthrightness has made her one of the most admired women of our time. Marilyn Quayle is co-author of two books: Embrace the Serpent and The Campaign.

Not only can it be spelled in two accepted ways, it isn't hard to figure that she and Dan can pronounce nuclear correctly.

The one thing that scares me is that both Carter and GWBush pronounce "newk yew ler".

I can appreciate the accent but the similarity makes me curious as to how many others use this pronunciation?

How do you know what kind of candidate she would be?

I never heard any snickering when JFK pronounced Cuba, as Cuber, just about every day he was president. My bet is that Bush and that ribbit killer Carter pronounce Newcular correctly, especially since Rickover never would have made Carter a Nuke boat skipper if he couldn't say it right.

I'd vote for Mrs. Quayle, any time, any place, any where.

Unfortunately I don't live in that state.

However, should she run I might send her a pittance, and I do mean pittance.

Don't do it on the strenght of my donation, Marilyn!

Is Marilyn Quayle an Arizona native or Indiana native? If Indiana, that could be a sticking point.
