For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday...
Thank the Veterans who served in The United States Armed Forces.
~May~ National Military Appreciation Month~
We thank you, you who volunteer To join the military to protect what's here... The Constitution, the Rule of law, Our way of freedom loved by all In this wondrous land of ours Whose Stars and Stripes flow freely Oer the land, whose seas are free, Dont tread on us... we are too, proud To let you turn us into dust!
We appreciate your bravery, your valor, Your honor, your gallantry, Thank You for all you do. And let Freedom ring the whole world through.
The price that's paid for freedom made an entire family terribly sad. A nation must know the price that's paid of blood, of tears, of love, greater than any made a life for freedom paid.
May our gracious God touch the hearts and ease their pain. Their loved one did not die in vain... A Hero walks tall in a lofty land of peace and will be forever young, In the Mansions of the Lord.
Amen

for having an expired life raft aboard. That could have been disastrous had the ship gotten into trouble & that life boat failed!

I'm not much for posting vanity stuff, but it would be a blessing if my FRiends here in the canteen would take a moment to say a prayer for Franz Grissom, the former leader and musical arranger for my old unit, the (now defunct) US Navy Steel Band, back in its glory days of the 60's.
I never served with him, but his reputation, his legend, his influence and legacy carried on long after his duty with the band ended and I was but a Seaman Apprentice making my bones.
According to Dave Grissom, Chief Grissom is very sick in Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada (702-880-2100, #436B). Dave says Franz would love to hear from his friends and old comrades and I plan to call just as an admirer and follower in his trail blazing footsteps.
Thanks for your time.

I like the newest member of the Special Ops Team. Thanks to all of you for helping keep Texas and the USA safe. And thanks for helping honor our military, past and present.

LOL!
Thanks!
I get pretty tired of my typos myself.
And hate using the spell checker as it sometimes completely goofs things up by inserting the html, and my html is suspect.

A-OH-%%%@!! has a spell checker too, but I find it annoying, and when you want to say something nonsensical,it doesn't like it and forces you to change it.

Ya know I googled "shrimp man in a hovercraft" & oddly enough no images appeared! What gives? How about a shrimp boat hovering with men?

Eudora just underlines it and you can change it if you wish, or you add the weird word to your dictionary. ;)
You are in total control with Eudora 6.2.1.2. LOL
