We thank you, you who volunteer
To join the military to protect
what's here...
The Constitution, the Rule of law,
Our way of freedom loved by all
In this wondrous land of ours
Whose Stars and Stripes flow freely
O’er the land, whose seas are free,
Don’t tread on us... we are too, proud
To let you turn us into dust!

We appreciate your bravery, your valor,
Your honor, your gallantry,
Thank You for all you do.
And let Freedom ring the whole world through.

The price that's paid for freedom made
an entire family terribly sad.
A nation must know the price that's paid
of blood, of tears, of love,
greater than any made
a life for freedom paid.

May our gracious God touch the hearts
and ease their pain.
Their loved one did not die in vain...
A Hero walks tall in a lofty land
of peace and will be forever young,
In the Mansions of the Lord.

Military, our Allies and their families.

First, things first.

OH GOODY. We're going to say something nice about our Military. I knew I had to put on something really nice this morning if we were going to show our appreciation for our Military. It's not often I get to dress up. I sure hope the cat hairs don't stick to my nice dress!

Thank you Ms. Feather for today's thread.

So, let me think.........something nice for our Military...........hmmmmmm........let's try this..........

Now, I'm gonna stroll through the Canteen to see who's here before I take time off for doing "that Four-letter word" that I get paid to do. But, before I do, I want to leave this parting thought

But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!

Warm-up exercise for today . . . . . Deep Knee Bends

For the National Day of Prayer...We kneel with so very many others and offer our prayers.
We pray for the safety of our troops,
We pray for their families,
We pray for the President of the United States,
We pray for our country,
We pray for our friends and neighbors here in the Canteen,
We pray for those less fortunate then ourselves,
We pray for the peace throughout the world,
We pray a prayer of gratitude for the blessings in our lives and all of the answers to our previous prayers.
To the power and glory if his name,
In Jesus' name,
AMEN

P.S. We also pray that somebody will help us get back up off our knees following a really long "Deep Knee Bend"! LOL!!!
