Not brilliant, the area is as productive as almost 15 other states and has the highest population of conservatives of any state.
We are just plagued by just a bit of a percentage more liberals.
IMO, if the Republicans would get off their butts and work in California, they could effect a 5% change in the voting patterns of the state making night turn to daylight here in CA.
Brilliance is good when tempered with common sense.
