I find Laura's public performance disgusting, degrading, and demeaning to the President and the Office. I thought the same about her daughters' behavior but chalked it up to immaturity. Hers was either calculated or she is incredibly stupid.
Laura didn't engage in degrading behavior or language. If you actually believe she did, you're in dire need of psychiatric counseling.
The fact that so many do not have any idea, any clue, just shows how far the culture of 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink' has taken us.
The influence of filth, fornication, foul language, immodesty, drugs, selfishness, gutter humor etc. of the 1960s has completely removed a large part of our culture from the realm of good taste and morality.
Not that Laura was guilty of these, but it has influenced her some, and has influenced the culture to wallow in the gutter and then get mad and throw a tantrum when someone points out 'you're in the gutter'.
