And once you test positive you always will. Many health care workers, especially in nursing homes or other live in facilities will test positive but not have TB. All it means is that sometime in their lives they were exposed to the virus. Although these numbers seem high, it is not an unusual situation.
I treat store bought poultry the same as I do wild game which has been killed with lead shot. I rinse it numerous times and remove any tissue which appears suspect.
I don't want the children or males in the family to have the estrogens from the meat because upping the estrogen for males invites prostate problems due to inbalance of hormones and for aging males it is even more critical.
Thanks for the reply and the links.
I had read something along those lines myself.
Esta verdad. Back in 1999 I hired a guy to help me build a couple of sheds in the backyard of my house in San Marcos, and he brought along a helper, Eduardo, who he swore was a *legal* immigrant. The first day on the job working with these guys, Eduardo is coughing up blood. I told the contractor to either get rid of Eduardo or don't bother showing up the next day. The following day, Eduardo was gone.

If you use some vinegar on the flesh it will have been rinsed with an acidic liquid and it will not alter the taste at all. In fact you could soak it and after cooking you wouldn't know the difference.
I use vinegar even though my poultry is privately raised and slaughtered and really needs no such thing.
