I'll vote for this!

BTTT!!!!!!!!
..my Assemblyman.
One of the few in CA with the right views.
Uh... Any federal grants, or funding for this "crying, un-met need?"
Sounds like a good idea to me.

Since the Federal government sees its politics, as well as Afghanistan and Iraq, more important than the integrity of the US, it is time something happen!!
I see one big gotcha coming up that the ACLU is probably slavering over, and that is distinction between Federal and State laws.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
Either post the California National Guard on the border, or seed the border with a few million "bouncing betty" anti-personnel landmines and the border will be secure.
Use the California State Police (who now only guard the govenor and state buildings to round up the illegals and then send them to the feds for deportation.
Sounds like a good idea to me too. In fact disband the Federal progarm and use that money for the state program.
Maybe that will get W off the dime and do something about the border...
Although we don't have the money to pay for a state border police anyway. LOL
And of course, Ahnold does have the CA National Guard if he was reeeeeely concerned about the border...
It's time for the border states to send DC a bill for the costs of illegal aliens! hint, hint...
Sue the feds for NINE BILLION DOLLARS, Governor!
The organization Rescue California, which gathered over 1.4 million signatures to recall Gray Davis in 2003, is preparing for a signature-gathering effort that would put the California Border Police Initiative on the June, 2006 ballot. A copy of the initiative along with a legal analysis of the states authority to enforce federal immigration law can be found at www.RescueCalifornia.com.
Note to readers: Without SIGNIFICANT cross-over voting to recall Davis, it would not have been successful. D/L's for illegals was one of the top 3 motivators to recall Davis. Also, the recall of Gray Davis was the FIRST SUCCESSFUL recall in CA's history... Remember, by 2006, if the radical lobbyists have their way, illegals WILL BE VOTING. Soooooooooooo.. I'll be passing the word on this one.
I think this is awesome! I'm trying to cobble up some kind of ping list for this one :)
There is still hope for intelligent leadership in CA, people!
Way to go California.
Sounds like another big bureaucracy to me...pensions, benefits, union, etc.
Parts of Riverside County now look like Tijuana Mexico. I'm glad this guy has noticed that.
If this thread don't get pulled, it will suprise me.
