However, why is my solution not viable, ie, get the illegal people out, close the borders (for illegal entry) and then fill whatever jobs we need to with LEGAL immigrants, ie, people who followed the rules?

Ah, that's easy. They want their American babies as anchors so THEY also could stay. Plus, I think it paves the way for taxpayer subsidized goodies.

Agreed. This cop is a fool like so many else who are not doing their job. This criminal invader was arrested for assault in 2002. If it was an issue in 2002 and they deported this criminal invader, then this mother would be alive today. So - this cop is just another stupid apologist for illegals and this will go on and on.
