Thanks for posting this. The point supports something I have been keen on for years: Those that believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights must discriminate daily for good.

We can discriminate on several fronts. Some of those fronts include the choices of pop culture we support, the products we buy and the business we conduct.

It’s all about choosing and refusing. Choose to watch Allison Krauss on CMT over Susan Sarandon on PBS. Choose a Mel Gibson production. Refuse to even hold a Whoopie Goldberg title. In products buy American where possible, avoid California and New York.

For vacation go to a red county and tell your friends why.

In your local business community look for tell tale signs like flying flags or closed on Sunday policies or bible verses on the changeable sign out front. It’s easy with a trained eye. Suddenly it’s easy to choose one local burger stand over another. Or hardware store or whatever.

In your own business, refuse to hire liberals. It’s pretty easy to get a feel for this in the interviewing process. No, do not be scared of that! You are a clever and smart business owner or manager. You can ask questions, lead conversations, drop anecdotes… Leftists may be running muckety muck in our culture, but that doesn’t keep them from being extremely easy to spot. And, as an employer or hiring manager, when you spot a liberal/leftist type, put a big scarlet letter on their resume and show em the door.

One way I’ve put it in the past is like this: Bankers don’t give ‘em a mortgage, Bakers don’t sell ‘em bread and employers don’t give ‘em a job. These things are duty.

It is God’s blessing we live in a country where we have the freedom to discriminate daily for good. Use it or lose it.
