"What did Roosevelt do with those Germans they captured coming ashore?"

"Six were executed in the electric chair on Aug. 8, 1942. Two other saboteurs, who had turned in the others and cooperated with the government, were sentenced to prison. They were deported to Germany in 1948 after serving five years and eight months in prison."

Somebody with more time or interest could produce a more accurate analysis, but if there are about 20,000,000 Iraqis, and they are about 20% Sunni and 50% male and about
60% between the ages of 16 and 60, then the most active group of oponents number about 1,200,000 individuals.
If they are removed from the field at about 25 per day for two years then we are approaching 1.5% of available compatents being removed. Every member of that group has a
good chance of personally knowing one of those removed individuals.

Did you notice the increasing numbers as we continue to "capture" their brethren? Dead terrorists tell no tales...

Actually, they were shipped to PoW camps, many of them here in Texas. After the war many of these PoWs worked with us to rebuild Germany. But we'll let the Iraqi government decide the fate of these terrorists in their own courts.

And properly interrogated terrorists will sell their mother for a bottle of evian and some chapstick.

Too bad that they can't have a "munitions accident" and have them all blow up. Would improve the air quality by not having these turds breating the same air as the good guys.

I wonder how many times we've "captured" the same terrorist...

By virtue of the catch and release practice - I'm betting this has happened more often that we care to acknowledge..

While it's true that dead terrorists tell no tales -- neither will they EVER terrorize again...or breed new terrorists. That gene pool is dried up.

I think he was referring to a specific small team of German saboteurs who were captured within a week or two of being landed by U-Boat. Most of them were hung. Captured German soldiers were of course treated as POW's and kept in camps in various parts of the US. You're also right that it should be up to the Iraqis as to how these foreign terrorists are to be "handled", that is after we've had a chance to thoroughly interrogate them.
