I wonder what my ex-wife would say about this, considering she recently decided to prove that my 11 year old daughter was really fathered by some other "sperm donor". Not that I would do anything like this; I don't begrudge the support I gave her. She will always be my daughter in my heart.

This is hideously tacky and cruel to the child involved.

I really feel sorry for the poor kid.

I am surprised this does not happen more often.
Imagine if dna tests were mandatory in all divorce cases.

"If you raise a child as your own, it is your own. This French man is typical scum. Not surprising that france came out with this dehumanizing decision first."Naturally I'd begrudge the mother, not the daughter.
Oh, and I have French relatives. Not that I care what people think of that. Never did, never will.

BTW, you're a good man for sticking with your little girl.

A FRENCHMAN has won a ground-breaking ruling against his former wife and her lover, ordering them to pay back the money that he had spent on bringing up a child he had mistakenly assumed to be his own. I never thought I'd say this, but: Vive le France!

The little girl must be devastated to learn the man she thought was her dad, wasn't.

My sperm donor, never had any interest in me, but my Dad means the world to me, I could never imagine my life without him. Every good thing, traits, character, talent were all cultivated by my Dad (step-father). Just make sure you tell your daughter how much you love her and be ever present in her life. She will love you! God Bless You!
To: Antonello
She will always be my daughter in my heart. Your daughter is a lucky young lady, with you for a dad.

Everyone is missing the point here.
An axiom in the US courts is that "Custody and Child Support are TWO COMPLETELY SEPARATE ISSUES"
At least that's what the courts tell men who are denied access to their kids.

Oh, those French are so naive and not wise in the ways of the world like us. They don't realize thinks like this and world leaders using employees for sex in their office are natural and should be accepted.
