Yeah, realism -- sure. This guy never sleeps, and an entire year of events happens in one day. Apparently the security of the entire country rests on the shoulders of one guy... yep, that's realism!
But boy, if the security of the USA DID rest with one guy--wouldn't you want it to be Jack?
Great fun!
I'm a fan, but I also wonder about his cell battery and when does the guy take a leak?
And the President's top advisor works in both Democratic and Republican administrations (Mike Novick), and the Republican Vice President is a pusillanimous wimp who embraces the concept of terrorism as a "law enforcement" issue. Hmmm. "Keller" sounds a lot like "Kerry" although he acts like Bill Clinton (except for the babes).
Hey, it gets better than that: Jack Bauer doesn't have to pee or poop, either! This man is more constipated than Gandhi!
OK, time for some real realism.
For the next show, the men of the CTU will fill out their expense reports and try to get the signatures required for reimbursement.
They are not allowed to torture any accounts payable personnel, no matter how difficult this mission turns out to be.
Looks like you've never had a federal employee describe his job to you.
Yes and we love it! Get it all done in one day!!!!!
Yeah and slimy lawyers from ACLU and Amnesty International aren't thwarting our every attempt to get the information we need from detained terrorists, yep, that's realism.
With all due respect to "24" fans, the BBC"s "MI-5" is a much better show. It's superb!
That and the poor acting....
"Yeah, realism -- sure. This guy never sleeps, and an entire year of events happens in one day. Apparently the security of the entire country rests on the shoulders of one guy... yep, that's realism!"
You are sooo right there! Every time I see the show, I wish I could be the REAL Jack Bauer, he's out there somewhere you know!
Get me a hacksaw!
Yeah it's entertaining, just as long as the mountains in Iowa don't get in yer way...LOL...I work hard to suspend my beliefs in order to make it thru 24...it's just plain hard to sometimes!!!
G
Not to mention that he can drive from anywhere in greater LA to anywhere else in about ten minutes. i know some folks who'd love to be able to pull that off.
And their cell phone batteries seem to never drain!
You mean, like the guy who had a "bad feeling" about Mohammed Atta on 9/11 but let him board the flight anyway? One person can make a difference.
ROLMAO!!!! I totally agree with you! After last night's incredible surgery intervention where Jack single-handedly tried to save Paul, I turned to my husband and said, "Maybe he'll make breakfast for everyone too!" I wish he had turned to Audrey and killed her instead. I HATE HER!
