This is not Tragic. It's Pathetic.

I wonder if she was afraid of the gun, or the guy holding the gun. If she had seen the gun just lying on the street, minding it's own business, would she still have had a heart attack?

Ive heard of pampered wimps, but this is ridiculous. Maybe it was drugs and her husband just blamed it on seeing a weapon?

I don't speak a word of Spanish (heck, I can't even order at Taco Bell), but as I while away my Saturday Nights, I'm fairly certain these girls are talking about how attractive they find me...

It is probably more than just seeing a handgun that did her in. I would surmise the actress had put more than a gram or two of cocaine in her nose before the incident.

Well, later reports said that it wasn't the sight of the gun that caused the heart attack at all. Turns out she was scared to death by this person standing behind the gunman!
To: No Blue States
It should be the other way around, criminals should have heart attacks when they see law abiding citizens with guns. The activity usually occurs at the opposite end of the torso.

I saw this on Friday, a very sad story, she had an 8-month old daughter in addition to two other kids.

There have been horrible kidnappings of the rich and famous in Mexico City. That is what probably came to mind, and the thought of that, frightened her to death.

I'm sorry the woman is gone, but there is something a little bit funny about a person dropping dead at the mere sight of something dangerous. It's something I'd expect a chihuahua to do.

Very true. If you are rich in Mexico, you are a definate target of kidnappers, I understood she even had a bodyguard when the incident occured. Mexico is just plain bad news. Most of the big Mexican stars now live in the US, legally, of course.

Evidently you've never been around a chihuahua too much. Just like short guys, little dogs always act like they've got something to prove. A chihuahua would have run in there and bit the guy on the ankles!
