Anti-Focus rally *** Nearly 1,000 gays, lesbians and their supporters gathered in freezing temperatures and spitting snow at Focus on the Family headquarters Sunday to declare it a "toxic religion zone" and its director James Dobson "a danger to himself and the country."

The really tragic part of that statement is that they are using these poor dead teenagers for their own political gain. Now, I only know one specific case myself, but that one had absolutely NOTHING to do with feeling rejected for her immorality. There was a suicide note and it explained the reasons -- totally different than that. The truth is that this person was emotionally troubled for a long time. The person didn't get help. Why? Because the gaystapo kept saying everything was normal and fine. Homosexuality, suicide, substance abuse, etc... can be syptoms of the same disease. But the inmates have taken over the asylum and the truth about their emotional distress has been covered up and denied treatment.
Do you figure Phelps is actually working for the gay groups? He seems to always know their schedule. He couldn't be more help to them if he tried, which makes me think he might be trying. He used to be a big Gore supporter. His church is made up of only family members and no one knows where he gets his money. I think his whole thing is staged by the left. They love him.
I apologize for having this awful thought--but I wouldn't be sad if Fred Phelps got hit by a bus. He's a menace.
Nice how the RMN so easily mixed the message of FOTF with the hateful Phelps types, isn't it?
It has been doing that in Minnesota as well.
Now I guess I see a bigger picture.
BTW, the car in question had about 15 bumper stickers. Most made no sense to me at all; the few I was able to figure out touted very left-wing causes.

It's nice to know these people are so tolerant of the views of others.
Nothing could be further from the truth, but Democrats are ignorant:-)
LOL!
AP had this story yesterday and they only reported 500 protesters. Typical inflation of the numbers. I doubt there were even 500 as it was in the 30's yesterday.
Here is the AP story.

One more comment on that. I'd like to see the funeral bills. I bet they haven't paid a dime. It's the poor families who were betrayed by various social services groups, school authorities, or gay advocacy groups that enticed and corrupt their children who end up paying -- financial and emotionally.
In Westminster, a group of anti- abortion protesters picketed for the second consecutive Sunday outside a Dairy Queen that is owned and operated by U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar's family.Ah, I had heard that Faith Bible Chapel people were the ones protesting the Senator's Dairy Queen, which I thought was out-of-character for them. Enyart's group fits the bill much better. Initial reports said that the protesters were openly protesting Salazar's involvement in blocking judicial appointments, but didn't mention abortion.About 20 picketers, including a man holding a baby doll and a crucifix, stood in snow showers holding pictures of aborted fetuses.
"We want to let the community know that the owner of this Dairy Queen supports aborting future customers," said Pastor Bob Enyart of the Denver Bible Church.
A delegation from Fred Phelps' wackjob Kansas church protested my church on Easter Sunday. All we got was a paragraph in a badly-written editorial in the drama section.
You mean the Phelps pod people came back to Denver? I thought they were only in town for Easter.
No -- Colorado Springs.
It was not same-sex marriage that occupied the Soulforce speeches Sunday. It was Focus on the Family's condemnation of homosexuality itself...
Before they vilify Focus on the Family, Soulforce needs to read about "What Homosexuals Say About Homosexuals - Is This Gay Behavior Sick?"
