You don't get it. I posted something critical about it and I was attacked. I like George and Laura Bush. They've brought dignity back to the White House and are good people. However, I still reserve the right to point out that Laura made an error in judgement by telling suck off-color jokes. Those of us offended by her bawdiness on this occasion have been beaten bloody on these threads. I'm not starting a witch hunt, I just pointed out that her jokes were not acceptable coming from a First Lady.
You accuse the First Lady of horrific things, make a sarcastic comment about her stripping at the event next year, and now you're whining about being beaten bloody??

No, you weren't ATTACKED; people COMMENTED on your posts; that's the way it works around here, and everybody understands that, except for the perpetually paranoid.
You were attacked. And by the usual suspects. Please know that you are not the first...nor will you probably be the last. It is one thing for a few people who are not in a small group to disagree with you but quite another for the small group to show up and attack you over and over again.
Please know that there are those of us who, even though we may not agree with you on everything, everytime, will not attack you over and over for saying something we disagree with. And there are many more of us.

I don't know you Spiff, but either you are (1) a liberal/Democrat: you're a wimp - 'nuff said; (2) you are a centrist/moderate: still a wimp - 'nuff said; (3) you are a conservative/Republican: you give conservative/Republicans a bad name.
