Oh boy, a liberal RINO from California is meeting with an opportunistic lawyer from Texas who got 2% against DeLay in the last election as an idependent cause he's run against DeLay every election for the last few years to promote himself as a terrorism expert and they are going to meet with the "party elders" to find an opponent for Tom.
BUT beware the danger within . . . . . lest we take them too lightly, the comment about the only way to take him is in the Republican Primary has some validity and look for a possible RINO coming out and trying to get Dem's to crossover vote in the Republican Primary.
The conservatives better turn out in the Primary to support DeLay.

I wish DeLay was as smart as he is aggressive. This scandal reminds me of the bone-headed book deal that Gingrich did after fellow Republicans begged him not to.

Leave it to the RINOs to wholesale buy into the Democrat's rantings. Funny, I don't ever recall Democrats looking for primary opponents for Jim McDermott, or that goober from Virginia.

"Nobody can come into a Texas district and tell the voters who to support," McCloskey said. Bingo!
Now go back to the left coast.

"Tom DeLay is an embarrassment to the Republican Party," said McCloskey, who represented Northern California from 1967 to 1983.
Sixteen years in the minority. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. We should listen to this dinosaur's opinion about one of the men who built the GOP into a majority party?

This idiot is not a Republican he is a covert left-wing democrat. He does not speak for the Republican party and should keep his stupid mouth closed.

I am liking Tom DeLay more all the time. By the way, DeLay is the only Republican I don't blame for what happened to Terri Schindler. THE ONLY ONE!

This is the same idiot who told all Republicans to vote for the TRAITOR John Kerry. So if you support a Traitor then you must be one.

If the Republican Party ever becomes the moderate, centrist party, they will become totally marginalized. The conservative base will leave and form a new party because we are the ones who are energized and active, not content to sit around the country club, sipping Gin & tonic, feeling superior while completely out of power.
I've been writing the GOP for some time now warning them of what will happen if they put too many RINOs in positions of power. I support Tom DeLay entirely. He is under attack because he is effective. If a timid GOP leaves him twisting in the wind they will lose me, my financial support, my ideological support (letters to the editor, faxes and emails to various leaders supporting Republican initiatives, etc.), my political registration and my vote.
My loyalty is to my belief system, not to a political party that no longer embodies that belief system.

...Pete McCloskey, in Houston Sunday for a conference on Palestinian issues... Hmmm...
Some of the speakers at this Leftist conference:
Dr. Azmi Bishara, Palestinian radical member of the Israeli Knesset; Paul Findley (former congressman and author of the "They Dare to Speak Out" and "Silent No More"); Diana Buttu, legal advisor to the PLO Negotiations Affairs Unit; Mazin Qumsiyeh, co-founder of Al-Awda, Palestinian Right of Return; with workshop presentations by Jeff Blankfort, 'spoken word artist' Ora Wise, Mohammed Abed, Professor Robert Jensen, Josh Ruebner of "End the Occupation," and others.

I live in Delay's district. Trust me on this that between what he has done here and the way the state legislature has configured his district. He would have to be caught in bed with a dead woman and a live boy to lose.

Okay liberal RINO's the world over. Let's get one thing straight. You think you want CD22? As our fathers once put it "Come and take it!"
Texas is a big hot state and it really is quite unbearable when the political heat adds in. So if you come here for a fight you better pack light cause the trip home is gonna be a tough one!
Liberal East or Liberal West make no mistake Mid-America IS NOT MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!
CD22 will never abandon Tom DeLay!
