Bosnian Muslims survived the horror of the Balkan wars of the 1990s, with hundreds of thousands of dead, tens of thousands of rape victims, and thousands of destroyed mosques, but with their Islamic spirituality and conscience intact. They did this because they were firm in their commitment to civility with their non-Muslim neighbors and acceptance of the legal norms of the West. Their Islamic leaders do not brand non-Muslims “unbelievers” (much less “infidels,” a term the Christian origin of which is revealed by its Latin roots.) They were tested by atrocities and horrors, and were forced to fight for their lives. But these Muslim teachers accept peace and preach peace. In all my time with them I have never heard the term “jihad” pass their lips.

Has the author done any research? Large areas of Bosnia were ethnically cleansed of infidels. And Kosovo is a textbook case on how muslims treat infidels when they come into power...

"Exultation at the shuttle disaster would hardly seem normal in a man of science no less that religion."

The key here is that islam is not a religion in the sense of Christianity. It is more akin to a cult, in that it is dominated by strong personalities that seek power and dominion over the world. It seeks the submission of all non-adherents, or they must die. It is as antithetical to Christianity as it can be, with little redeeming about it. So, for the writer of this piece to make this statement suggests he is blind to reality - as our leaders seem to be - about the enemy that is islam.

Syphilis within a cancer.....interesting thought. Shame that Schwartz is so foolishly idealistic that he thinks islime can be turned "moderate". If he had ever seriously thought about what is said in the Koran and the Hadiths, he'd understand that Wahabbism is the ultimate expression of what Mohammed had in mind, and is therefore irredeemable. The only way to "moderate" islime is to eliminate it......period.

The real syphilis of Islam is Muhammad and his false God Allah. Wahhabism originates from its corrupt base, Islam itself. The whole of Islam is a syphilis, a Satanic corruption of the human brain.
