The enlightened and moderate Germans of today have been trying to convince the world that, like them, Germans were also victims of Nazism (bifurcation of Germans from Nazism). Secondly, Nazism will neither be revived nor let be repeated. It is still to be seen as to what extent the world is convinced. However, one thing is for sure: laws to ban Nazi actions and symbols cannot subjugate the attitude. Rather, it calls for an intrinsic change, as a coat is prone to change easily but a core is quite resilient. The requisite change from within can only sprout if there is an honest joint will on the part of the society to do so
